Quantum Bang

ellywinkleIn my continued effort to stretch myself, I have decided to participate in the new Quantum Bang. I’m still plotting the story but went ahead to write the intro. It’s just my push to avoid staring at a blank page. This is a Fix-It Challenge and amazingly I went entirely blank on fix-it ideas. Luckily an afternoon coffee hour with mom helped me brainstorm. I love her to death and rarely take any of her suggestions, but she will frequently say something that will lead me down a tangent to that spark of inspiration. So I’m taking this idea and running with it.
No, not sharing what it is. It’s a secret until the story is posted. I will keep you updated on my journey. It’s 50k+ words so this will be one of my longest if I can complete it. Wish me luck.
On a separate note, I’m also working on an rough outline for two more stories in my Debutante Ball storyline, will soon work on finalizing Minor Misunderstanding, and am sorting through ideas for the November Rough Trade. Whether the writing is good or bad, at least I’m enjoying myself.
